The Marco Sensor System SNS

The sns-program is designed for applications under rough operating conditions and for situations, where sensors must be intrinsically safe. It offers a broad spectrum for controlling machines, like motors, gears, conveyor belts, shield supports, and for monitoring such units. Along with pressure sensors and displacement sensors, the program contains vibration-detectors (for coal-detection) and approximation switches. One can find a catalog on the back of this paper. All sensors are equipped with conm/4-connectors and can be connected to every Marco control unit

Sensors and Sensor Data

sns is a program which one can apply quickly and easily in the necessary areas. The system is designed to be so open that extra sensors may be quickly added. The evaluation of sensor data is performed under real-time conditions with the help of Marco control units. Because of this design, the complete system presents an integrated solution to sensor problems.


Overview sns Program

The system offers a complete intrinsically safe program to evaluate important machine data, like net frequency, pressure, earth circuits, inclination (x, y), height, noise, approximation, displacement and vibration. It extends Marco control units and components with the capability to acquire machine data under real-time conditions.
